If you're a new gun owner....
In 2020, there were over 39 million NICS background checks, the most ever recorded in a single year since the NICS system was put into place. While not a direct one-to-one correlation, that number roughly approximates the number of new gun purchases for the year.
Vanguard Belts offers belts perfectly suited to properly supporting a holstered firearm. That old flimsy leather belt from your local department store will not do the job well. It will sag and it will eventually fail by tearing or breaking. Holstered firearms require a solid, rigid belt platform to keep the heavy firearm upright and to keep it well positioned for a proper draw.
From the Vanguard Belts catalog, we recommend taking a look at the TC Belt, our most rigid belt model. It provides that solid platform necessary to support that new firearm properly. We can also recommend the Original Belt as a suitable option for concealed carry -- it has a little more flex in the material, but is still more than adequate to serve as a concealed carry belt. While our TS Belts are great, durable belts, the material is thinner and more flexible than the other two options, and may not properly support a holstered firearm.
Shop now and take advantage of our free shipping. If you do not see your belt size in stock, don't hesitate to email me at brian@vanguardbelts.com and let me know what you need. I can build a belt in nearly any length. Whatever you do, do not underestimate the importance of a good concealed carry belt. If you don't buy a Vanguard Belt, then buy one from a competitor. Do not rely solely on that old ratty belt that is already splitting apart and looks tattered. Invest in a good belt -- it MATTERS.
P.S. As a sidenote, when shopping for a good holster, expect to spend anywhere from $40 to $100 or more depending on the features you need. That $15 or $20 budget holster on Amazon will certainly not meet your needs and will be tossed into a drawer in favor of a better one that will be purchased soon after. Invest in the better quality holsters made and offered by the many hundreds of Kydex holster makers across the country. If you need holster recommendations, message me or email me and I can recommend some good ones. I have become well versed in holsters in the last few years, and I'm happy to help.
